RERA Complaint in Hyderabad, handled end-to-end for a flat ₹8,000
If a builder in Hyderabad — in Gachibowli, Kokapet, Kompally, Uppal, or anywhere else in Telangana — has delayed possession, changed the sanctioned plan, or withheld your refund, we file and pursue your complaint before the Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) for a single flat fee of ₹8,000. That fee is complete: drafting, documentation, filing, and representation before the Authority are all included, and we do not add anything to it later.
Where this actually goes: TG RERA, not a civil court
RERA complaints against a promoter, allottee, or real estate agent for a Telangana project fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of TG RERA, seated in Hyderabad. This is a specialised forum, distinct from the ordinary civil courts of the city — matters like possession disputes on non-RERA-registered projects, or connected civil recovery suits, are what land instead before the City Civil Court, Hyderabad, and family-related disputes touching a property go to the Family Court, Hyderabad. If your matter escalates — an appeal, or a civil suit arising alongside the RERA complaint — that eventually sits under the appellate and supervisory jurisdiction of the Telangana High Court. We assess at the outset which forum your facts actually belong in, and if a TG RERA complaint is not the right route, we tell you plainly rather than filing anywhere for the sake of it.
Jurisdiction before TG RERA is tied to where the project is registered and situated — any RERA-registered project anywhere in Telangana, not just within Hyderabad city limits, can be brought before this Authority, since it is the single state-level forum. So whether your flat is in Hyderabad proper or in a registered project elsewhere in the state, the complaint is filed at the same TG RERA bench, and we handle it the same way.
How we work with clients across Hyderabad — and outside it
Most of our Hyderabad clients never need to visit a physical office. We work this way:
- Documents digitally — your builder-buyer agreement, payment receipts, allotment letter, and correspondence are shared over WhatsApp or email; we prepare the complaint from these.
- We appear, you don't have to — Adv. Bhawna Yadav and her team handle drafting, filing before TG RERA, and representation at hearings. You are kept updated at each stage, but your physical presence at the Authority is not required for us to carry the matter forward.
- Calls and updates on your schedule — for clients in IT/ORR corridor jobs or otherwise time-constrained, we schedule calls around your availability rather than expecting you to adjust to court timings.
- NRIs and Hyderabadis abroad — a large share of Hyderabad-origin clients we work with are now in the US, UK, Gulf, or Australia, often having bought their flat before relocating. We handle the complaint entirely on your behalf under a simple authorisation, coordinate on WhatsApp across time zones, and you don't need to travel back to India for this matter to proceed.
- Co-owners and family members locally — where a flat is jointly owned or a family member in Hyderabad needs to sign or verify a document in person, we coordinate that step directly with them so the process isn't held up waiting on you.
Why clients in Hyderabad choose us
You deal directly with Adv. Bhawna Yadav, an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh who takes on RERA matters across states including Telangana — not a call-centre intake team or a rotating set of junior associates. We quote the ₹8,000 flat fee once, at the start, after actually looking at your documents — and if your case genuinely needs more than a standard RERA complaint (say, a parallel civil claim), we say so upfront instead of adding it on midway. There is no upselling, no "package upgrade" pitch partway through.
We correspond in English or Hindi, whichever you're comfortable with, and keep the process straightforward: send us your documents, and we take the complaint from drafting through to a hearing before TG RERA, with you informed at every step over WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to file a RERA complaint against a builder?
Our fee is a flat 8000 rupees, agreed in writing before we begin. It covers reading your file, drafting the complaint, filing it before your State RERA Authority, and appearing at the first hearing. There is no hourly billing, and only further hearings, if the Authority needs them, are quoted to you in advance.
Can you file my RERA complaint if I live in another city or abroad?
Yes. RERA complaints are filed before the Authority of the State where your project is located, and we work with clients across India and file before the correct State Authority for your project. You do not need to be in the same city as us. We handle documents digitally and keep you updated wherever you are, including if you are an NRI.
Can the complaint and hearing be handled in English or Hindi?
Yes. We draft, explain and correspond in English or Hindi, whichever you are comfortable with. You will always understand exactly what has been filed and what happens next, in plain language.
What can I claim in a RERA complaint against my builder?
Depending on your facts, you can seek possession with interest for the delayed period, a full refund of what you paid together with interest, or a remedy for false and misleading promises. We read your file first and tell you honestly which reliefs fit your matter before we draft anything.
My builder keeps delaying possession. Do I have a case under RERA?
If your agreement promised possession by a date that has now passed and the flat is not ready, you generally have a strong claim. The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 lets you insist on possession with interest for the delay, or step out of the project and recover your money with interest. Send us the agreement and we will assess it honestly.
What if my builder offers a refund but refuses to pay interest?
This is common. Builders often agree to return the principal while quietly dropping the interest or stretching repayment over an open-ended schedule. Under the Act your money being locked up entitles you to interest, and we make sure that claim is on the record and argued, not waived.
How long does a RERA complaint take?
We aim to draft and file within one to two weeks of receiving your complete documents. After that, the hearing timeline depends on your State Authority's list. RERA was designed as a faster, buyer-friendly forum than an ordinary civil court, and we keep your matter moving and keep you informed.
