Regular Bail in Delhi — handled by Adv. Bhawna Yadav and her team

If someone you know has been arrested in Delhi and is in judicial or police custody, our focus is getting a regular bail application moved without delay. We handle the matter end to end for a flat fee of ₹30,000 — one number, quoted once, no add-ons layered on later.

Where this is actually decided

Regular bail after arrest is heard by the Magistrate in the first instance, and where the offence is serious or the Magistrate has declined bail, by the Sessions Court. In Delhi, that means filing before the concerned Magistrate or Sessions Judge at Patiala House, Tis Hazari, Saket, or Rohini District Courts — whichever complex has territorial jurisdiction over the police station where the FIR was registered. Delhi's district courts are divided by police-station jurisdiction, so a case out of Sarojini Nagar or R.K. Puram goes to Patiala House, an FIR from Model Town or Sadar Bazar goes to Tis Hazari, matters from Saket, Mehrauli or Malviya Nagar are listed at Saket, and cases from Rohini, Shahdara or the northwest zone go to Rohini. Getting this right at the outset avoids a wasted filing and lost time in custody — we confirm the correct complex before we draft.

If bail is refused at the Sessions level, the next forum is the Delhi High Court, and if it becomes necessary, we advise clearly on that step rather than filing there prematurely; our flat fee covers the district-court application, and we are upfront if the matter needs to escalate.

How we work with clients across Delhi

Most of what a bail application needs — the FIR copy, arrest memo, vakalatnama, ID and address proof, sureties' documents — can be shared with us digitally over WhatsApp or email. We do not need the family to run between chambers and the court complex chasing paperwork. What we handle directly:

  • Drafting the bail application and supporting affidavits
  • Filing before the correct Magistrate/Sessions Court in the right district complex
  • Appearing and arguing the matter in person on hearing dates
  • Coordinating with the surety and getting bail bonds accepted so release can actually happen

For families based outside Delhi, or for NRIs with a relative in custody here, we run the entire process without requiring anyone to travel — instructions, document collection and updates all happen over WhatsApp and phone, and we appear physically wherever the court requires a lawyer in person. Custody matters move fast and often without warning, so we prioritise same-day or next-day filing once instructed and documents are in hand.

Why families in Delhi choose us

Adv. Bhawna Yadav appears personally, or through her team, across Delhi's district courts — this is not a call-centre referral service handing the file to an unknown local lawyer. You deal with one advocate, one flat fee agreed before we start, and a clear answer if the case needs more than a standard bail application; we would rather tell you that honestly than quote low and add charges later. We communicate in English or Hindi, whichever is comfortable, and every update on the matter — hearing dates, court observations, next steps — comes to you directly over WhatsApp so you are never left guessing what happened at Patiala House, Tis Hazari, Saket or Rohini.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a regular bail application cost?

Our flat professional fee is ₹30,000. That one figure covers drafting the application, filing it before the right court, and appearing at your first hearing. We agree it in writing before we start, so there is nothing to work out later and no bill that grows on you.

What is the difference between regular bail and anticipatory bail?

Anticipatory bail is applied for before an arrest, when you fear one is coming. Regular bail is what you apply for after a person has already been arrested and is in custody. This service is for regular bail — getting someone released while the case continues.

Is this only for non-bailable offences?

In a bailable offence, release is a matter of right and is usually secured at the police station or before the Magistrate. Regular bail applications matter most in non-bailable offences, where the court decides whether to grant bail. We handle both situations and will tell you honestly which one you are in.

Can you help if the arrest happened in another city or state?

Yes. We work with clients across India and file before the court that has jurisdiction over the matter. The law on regular bail is central legislation and applies the same way in every state, so wherever the arrest took place, we can act.

My family member was arrested but I live abroad — can you still help?

Yes. We regularly act for NRIs and families overseas whose relative has been arrested in India. We take instructions over call, video, or email in English or Hindi, and keep you updated at every stage without you needing to fly down.

Will the whole matter be handled in English or Hindi?

Both. We speak with you and explain everything in English or Hindi, whichever you are comfortable with, and the bail order and its conditions are explained to you in plain language so you actually understand what has been granted.

What happens if bail is refused at the first court?

A refusal is not the end of the road. A fresh regular bail application can be made before the Sessions Court or the High Court under the BNSS. We will explain the position honestly, tell you whether moving up is worthwhile, and quote that stage separately before anything is done.

How quickly can you file?

Once we have the FIR and the basic papers, we usually draft and file within two to four days, and faster where custody makes speed critical. Bail is time-sensitive, so it is the first thing we move on.
