  • How are lawyers verified?

Bar Council enrolment number, photo ID, and court enrolment are all checked before the profile goes live. The last 4 digits of the BCI ID are public on every profile.

  • Why are reviews anonymized?

Per BCI advertising rules, individual lawyer endorsements are restricted. We display review counts and aggregate ratings, but full names are masked to initials.

  • Can I request a specific lawyer?

On the lawyer profile, tap "Book ₹499 consult". Subject to availability, the consult is routed to that lawyer.

  • What if the lawyer asks for more money outside the platform?

Tap the "Off-platform billing" report on the order page. The lawyer is suspended pending review; you receive ₹100 LawLand credit as a thank-you.

  • How do I request a different lawyer?

Open the order, tap "Request reassignment". A senior reviewer responds within four business hours.

  • Can I see my lawyer's photo?

After your matter is assigned, yes. Before assignment, profiles show anonymized facts only.
