Get your GSTIN without the back-and-forth
GST registration is one of those tasks that looks simple until a query lands from the department or you pick the wrong scheme and lock yourself out of input credits for a year. Adv. Bhawna Yadav and her team take the whole thing off your plate at a flat ₹1,500: we advise on the right scheme for your business, prepare and submit your complete application, answer any query the department raises, and hand you your GSTIN — usually within three to seven working days.
The fee is fixed and agreed in writing before we start. There is no hourly billing, nothing added at the end, and no upselling you into services you do not need.
Who needs GST registration
You must register if any of these apply to you:
Turnover thresholds
Registration becomes mandatory once your aggregate turnover crosses ₹40 lakh for a goods business or ₹20 lakh for a services business in a financial year (lower thresholds apply in some special-category states). If you are approaching the limit, it is better to register before you cross it than to scramble afterwards.
Compulsory cases, regardless of turnover
Under Section 24 of the CGST Act, certain businesses must register from the very first rupee — inter-state suppliers of goods, sellers on e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra or Meesho, casual taxable persons, and non-resident taxable persons supplying into India. If you fall in any of these categories, turnover is irrelevant; you need a GSTIN to operate lawfully.
Voluntary registration
Even below the threshold, many businesses choose to register. A GSTIN lets you claim input tax credit on your purchases, makes you a more credible vendor to GST-registered buyers, and avoids a rushed registration the moment you win a larger contract.
Choosing the right scheme
One decision shapes your GST life for the year: composition or regular.
The composition scheme is the simpler of the two — a low flat rate of tax and a single quarterly return instead of monthly filings. The trade-offs are real, though: your turnover must stay under ₹1.5 crore, you cannot make inter-state sales, and you cannot claim input tax credit. It suits small, local, B2C businesses with thin paperwork.
The regular scheme is the right choice for inter-state suppliers, exporters, and any B2B business where input credits materially reduce your tax outgo. It involves monthly returns, but the credit you recover usually outweighs the extra compliance.
We do not leave this to guesswork. During your consultation we look at your actual business model and recommend the scheme that costs you the least over the year — before anything is submitted.
What you'll need to send us
To keep things moving, have these ready: your PAN and Aadhaar, proof of your business address, a bank proof, and passport-size photographs. For a company or LLP we will also need the incorporation details. We send you a single, clear checklist so you are not guessing what counts.
After your GSTIN is issued
Registration is the start, not the finish. Every regular-scheme business files monthly returns, and a single missed deadline attracts a late fee under Section 47 of the CGST Act plus interest under Section 50. We include a first-return reminder with your registration, and our separate monthly GST return filing keeps you compliant for a flat ₹500 per return if you would like us to handle it.
GST registration by business type
The registration is broadly the same, but the supporting details differ by how your business is structured — and getting them right the first time is what avoids a query.
Proprietorship
The simplest case. The proprietor's PAN and Aadhaar anchor the registration, with a business-address proof and a bank proof. Most freelancers, consultants and single-owner shops fall here.
Partnership firm or LLP
The firm's PAN, the partnership deed or LLP agreement, and the partners' identity and address details are needed, along with the authorisation for the signing partner. We line these up against your deed so there is no mismatch.
Private limited company
The company's PAN, the certificate of incorporation, board authorisation for the signatory, and the directors' details are required. A company's registration is the most document-heavy, which is exactly where having it handled properly saves time.
E-commerce sellers
If you sell on a marketplace, registration is mandatory from your first sale regardless of turnover, and the platform will ask for your GSTIN before activating your seller account. We prioritise these so your listing is not held up.
Why clients choose us for GST registration
Three reasons clients come to Adv. Bhawna Yadav and her team rather than leave it to chance: the fee is flat and known upfront, the scheme advice is genuine rather than a default setting, and any query the department raises is handled for you rather than landing in your inbox to puzzle over. You deal with a named advocate and her team throughout, in English or Hindi, and there is no upselling.
The legal basis
GST registration in India is governed by Sections 22 and 24 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, which set the turnover thresholds and the compulsory-registration categories. The procedure is set out in Rules 8 and 9 of the CGST Rules, 2017.

Frequently asked questions
Is GST registration mandatory for me?
It is mandatory once your turnover crosses ₹40 lakh for goods or ₹20 lakh for services in a year, and from the first rupee if you are an inter-state supplier, an e-commerce seller, a casual taxable person, or a non-resident taxable person under Section 24 of the CGST Act. Many businesses also register voluntarily, because a GSTIN unlocks input credits and adds B2B credibility.
Should I choose the composition or the regular scheme?
Composition is simpler — a low flat rate and quarterly returns — but it caps turnover at ₹1.5 crore, bars inter-state sales, and does not allow input credits. The regular scheme suits inter-state suppliers, exporters and B2B businesses where input credits matter. We recommend the right one for you during the consultation, before anything is submitted.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
A flat ₹1,500, typically completed in 3–7 working days when your documents are in order. The price is agreed in writing upfront — there is no hourly billing and nothing added later.
Can you register me if I'm in another state, or abroad?
Yes. We register clients in every Indian state at the same fixed price, and we handle non-resident GST registration for businesses based outside India. See the India-entry desk for foreign clients.
