  • What's the difference between a template and a drafted SKU?

A template is a lawyer-reviewed draft you customise yourself with a guided wizard. A drafted SKU is hand-prepared by a verified advocate for your matter. Templates are cheaper; drafted SKUs are bespoke.

  • Can I edit the downloaded DOCX?

Yes. The DOCX is unprotected so you can refine it yourself or hand it to your lawyer.

  • How long is the watermarked preview valid?

Indefinitely. The preview is yours to read; only the clean download is paid.

  • Can I download the same template again?

Yes — go to /account/documents. Re-downloads are unlimited for 12 months from purchase.

  • Are templates valid in my state?

Templates marked "pan-India" are validated across states. State-specific templates (e.g. Karnataka rent agreement) carry the state code on the listing.

  • Who reviews the templates?

Each template is signed off by an empanelled senior advocate, named in the listing, and re-reviewed annually.
