  • How do I check my order status?

    Open /account/orders, tap the order, and read the timeline. The same milestones are sent to you on WhatsApp at every state change.

  • What does "held in escrow" mean for my payment?

    Your money sits in a LawLand-controlled Razorpay escrow account. The lawyer is only paid after you tap "Accept deliverable" on your order page.

  • How do I download my GST invoice?

    Order page → "Download invoice". Indian Tax Invoice format, GSTIN of LawLand Technologies Pvt. Ltd., place of supply = your registered state.

  • I want a refund — what counts?

    Per our refund policy, we re-do the matter at no charge if it is fixable. A money refund is issued only if the matter is genuinely unfixable. Money refunds land in 5–7 business days via Razorpay.

  • Can I cancel after I have paid?

    Yes — until a lawyer accepts the assignment. After that, cancellation triggers our standard re-do flow.

  • What payment methods are supported?

    UPI (recommended), all Indian credit and debit cards, net-banking from major banks, and the popular wallets — all via Razorpay.

  • Why was my payment held for review?

    Razorpay's risk system occasionally holds high-value first-time payments. It usually clears in 30 minutes; we automatically refund if it does not.

  • Do you store my card details?

    No. All card data lives with Razorpay. We only store the order id, payment id, and amount.
